Department of Health lists 28 new deaths from coronavirus statewide
HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday announced 323 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 28 new related deaths, statewide.
The statewide case total is 79,121 during the pandemic. There have been 6,243 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
There are 2,238 patients who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure, which are considered probable cases and not confirmed cases. There are 513,909 patients who have tested negative to date.
The state Department of Health reports 468 total positive tests for Erie County, nine more positives than the state listed for Erie County on Sunday. The county has not yet provided updated numbers for Monday.
